More than USD17 million is required to provide food, shelter, health care, water and sanitation to an estimated 270,000 flood victims in Honduras over the next six months, United Nations agencies and their partner non-governmental organizations said. The amount will also back emergency logistics and early recovery projects in the flood-hit nation. Projects put forward by nine U.N. agencies, the International Organization for Migration, and Plan International will utilize the funding.
