    The United Nations office in Africa has urged non-governmental organizations working in Ghana to rethink their strategies for helping the country attain the Millennium Development Goals by 2015, Ghana News Agency reports. Charles Abugre, the office’s deputy director, asked NGOs to assess the impact of their existing campaign by talking to MDG beneficiaries. Abugre also encouraged African governments to pressure the international community into following through on their pledges for the region’s development.
