    The United Nations Development Program is pushing for better management and monitoring of its projects in Guyana, Starbroek News reports. Following an annual review of its Guyana operations, the U.N. agency has recognized the need to include gender themes in its programs. For 2010, UNDP will back 14 projects focusing on public trust and social inclusion, budget support, and assistance for the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.
