The U.S. Agency for International Development will provide contraceptive funding anew to the Philippines after a three-year lull that resulted from the lack of support from the national government. The agency tapped Alphamed Pharma Corp. and other private firms to supply contraceptives to village health centers. USAID committed USD250,000 for the initiative.
