Mark Green, a former U.S. congressman and diplomat, has joined the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition as senior director. He will oversee field operations and public policy as well as lead efforts to expand the coalition’s network of activities that push for greater U.S. engagement in the international community.
“Mark Green’s experience as a member of Congress and ambassador will be invaluable to us as we make the case for the importance of the International Affairs Budget to our national and economic security,” Liz Schrayer, USGLC’s executive director, said in a Feb. 24 statement. “Mark has been an outstanding member of our Board, and I am thrilled that he will be joining our professional team to help us accomplish our mission each day.”
