In this Devex webinar, we show you how recruiters search for candidates on Devex and reveal insider tips and tricks for making your profile stand out.

If you are looking for a job, you are likely spending a lot of time perusing job boards and staying on top of the latest vacancy announcements. While applying to jobs is an important aspect of any job search, what you may not know is many positions are never even advertised.

Whether it’s because they are under a time crunch, do not have the capacity to sift through potentially hundreds of applications or are afraid of signaling to competitors when they are hiring for a proposal, many employers do not advertise all of their open positions. Instead, many of them turn to resources like Devex to proactively find and recruit candidates they think will be a good fit for their needs.

Last week, I hosted a webinar with Devex manager for membership, Stephanie Eichmann, where she walked through how recruiters search Devex to find candidates for their open positions. Taking a peek under the hood, Eichmann revealed insider tips and tricks for optimizing your Devex profile so recruiters can more easily find you.

Watch the full webinar recording above to learn what parts of your profile are most important, how to describe your experience to attract the most attention and answers to audience questions about navigating a job search in global development.
