The World Bank will provide $350 million to back Vietnam's socio-economic development plan and existing stimulus package. Vietnam also obtained some $177 million from the global lender to further improve governance, financing, quality assurance and public financial management in the higher education sector. The bank will provide another $127 million for the nation's full-day schooling reform program.
