Sierra Leone is receiving another USD11 million for its program to rebuild roads and other vital transport facilties. The grant-and-loan package is courtesy of the World Bank, which stressed that the money will not be used for new or revised components of the initiative. The plan involves restructuring the Sierra Leone Roads Authority by establishing a Road Maintenance Fund and privatizing the Mechanical Services Unit.
