Zimbabwe and China concluded July 7 the eighth session of their joint permanent commission, where the two nations committed to deepen their economic cooperation. China pledged USD1.5 million to help provide medical equipment and drugs to the China-Zimbabwe Friendship Hospital. The China Eximbank also committed USD200 million for a buyer’s credit facility for the procurement of agricultural inputs to boost food production in Zimbabwe, Xinhua News reports.
