has pledged a further 5 million Australian dollars ($4.2 million) to provide food assistance to nearly 3 million Zimbabweans. The World Food Program will administer the funding. Australia will also contribute another 2 million Australian dollars, which will be channeled through UNICEF, to help Zimbabwe's Ministry of Education provide textbooks and other school materials. An additional 1 million Australian dollars will be provided by the Australian government to increase farm production in the African nation.
