They envision a world with enough safe water for growth, people, and the environment.
The 2030 Water Resources Group (2030 WRG) is a public, private, civil society partnership hosted by the World Bank Group. The partnership supports country-level collaboration designed to unite diverse groups with a common interest in the sustainable management of water resources.
Their mission is to help countries close the gap between water demand and supply by 2030. It is very important that they build strong partnerships and understand how decisions are made in the countries in which they operate. Not only do they want to know whether their programs are successful and impactful, but also why. This will help inform us to better design the programs with their partners, and more effectively replicate and scale their efforts.
The 2030 WRG’s work is centered around their theory of change and results framework. They use these inputs to determine the desired outputs, outcomes, and eventual impact. Clear indicators are associated with each step, focusing on concrete, measurable results.
