What do you specialize in?
1) Aspiro manages projects and their stakeholders to minimize risks and avoid problems – they are especially good in handling large IT project and programs in corporate and public sectors.
2) Aspiro provides independent analytical look at business performance, identify the improvements and assist in implementing them.
3) Aspiro understands how to finance infrastructure, get it contracted and built, guiding either investors or public entities from A to Z, in Central Europe, former Yugoslavia, and Turkey.
4) Aspiro runs a number of promising start-up businesses and provide the new business kick-off capacity to clients as well.
But what about sectors, countries?
Aspiro has affinity toward some sectors and countries thanks to people’s experience but they are primarily functional specialists. They are strong in telecommunications, banking, water and sanitation, but have had successful projects with notable results in transport, retail, or healthcare. Aspiro always have some projects going on in Central Europe, Western Balkans, and Turkey, but they also successfully completed assignments in countries as diverse as Germany, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, or Singapore.
What is the size of your business?
Out of the 2-2.5m EUR annual revenue in the past three years (2012-2014), about 40% has been project management consultancy, 20% in business consultancy, 30% in infrastructure consultancy, and 10% in new ventures.
How was Aspiro born?
David Brezna took a break from consulting in 2007 and set up Aspiro to support his private ventures. In 2009 he returned to consulting and invited other experienced consultants/executives to become his partners. They used Aspiro as the vehicle and transformed it into a professional boutique management consultancy, led by a small number of partners who are at the same time executive managers. Aspiro’s first two consultancy contracts came in March 2009, with E.ON and ESET respectively.
What is Aspiro’s legal form and ownership structure?
Aspiro operates as joint-stock company in Slovakia and has a 100% owned subsidiary in the Czech Republic, a limited liability company. As of March 2015 there are five shareholders – partners – David Března, Martin Talian, Miroslav Kučera, Radoslav Jaššo, and Patrik Pliešovský.

Aspiro’s audited accounts are publicly available on Slovak tax authority’s site, the company undergoes periodical ISO certification to maintain its ISO9001 certificate, and has professional liability insurance with Allianz for up to 800,000 EUR per consultancy assignment. The company’s bank accounts are with Tatrabanka (Raiffeisen Group) in Slovakia and Ceska sporitelna (Erste Group) in the Czech Republic.
