Since 1991, ASAP has empowered thousands of women and youth; providing training and tools to help families become self-reliant. Today, at their tool recycling center in Newnan GA, Tools For Empowement helps keep valuable tools and equipment out of landfills and puts them directly into the hands of vocational school graduates around the world.
ASAP, A Self-help Assistance Program, was created by two Peace Corps volunteers that were teaching in rural Swaziland. There they met and were married. Teaching the poorest of the poor how to become more self-reliant is their passion and the driving force behind ASAP.
