Abengoa Teyma is the Uruguayan affiliate of Abengoa company. Since 1980, they are engaged in the development of engineering, construction and industrial services activities. They also offer services related to the forestry sector, urban hygiene and waste management, and operation and maintenance activities in Uruguay.
With more than 35 years closely following the changes process of the country, they have participated in the most important infrastructure works.
Abengoa Teyma is a leading company in the sector in terms of construction, it being a key player in the realization of major investment projects, both at public and private level, with a sound experience in the execution of EPC contracts (Engineering, Procurement and Construction).
The company has over 400 executed projects, including some 450.000 m2 built, more than 100 hydraulic works, various industrial projects, and 70 electric projects, it being worth mentioning the outstanding development of different wind energy projects, which turns the company into the main private developer of wind farms in the country.
