ACBA Leasing is the first registered specialized leasing company in Armenia established in 2003. on March 30th.
Leasing, being an important financial instrument for economic development, was not yet available to Armenian businessmen. Taking into consideration the need for the funding and the preconditions of its development, it is decided to carry out a huge amount of research, identifying the legislative framework in need of transformation.

Taking into account the fact that before this kind of financing in Armenia did not exist, but which was an important investment lever aimed at improving the productivity of enterprises and modernization of fixed assets, International Finance Corporation, IFC (IFC) is a member of the World Bank, carrying out a market research for the United Nations Organization, expressed a desire to participate in the creation of opportunities for leasing operations in Armenia.
An enormous research work was carried out to identify the legislative framework in need of transformation. Being a participant in the creation of a Lebanese leasing company (LLC), IFC applies to the US Agency for International Development (USAID) In spring this year, the French "Credit Agricole" bank group will become a gambler in the program of creating a leasing company in Armenia.
The results of the preliminary study led to the need for a local quality partner, which would be the guarantee of the success of the project. In the unanimous opinion, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK CJSC was such a local partner with a wealth of experience and capability for leasing operations.
Due to the joint efforts of the participants of this important program for the development of the Republic of Armenia, ACBA Leasing was ready to start its activities.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia On April 23, the credit organization No. 4 was issued the license and the organization started its activities.
