Hatch Acres, with a staff of about 900, comprises North American-based power and energy consulting, engineering and management companies with operations worldwide. The firm was established in 1924 as H.G. Acres and Company and has completed assignments in 124 countries. Staff include engineers, scientists, economists, technicians and administrative personnel. From offices across Canada, the United States and around the world, Hatch Acres carries out assignments for public utilities, private developers, industry, governments, and financing institutions. In 2004, Acres accepted an offer of purchase from Hatch and is now a member of The Hatch Group. We changed our name to Hatch Acres on August 1, 2005 to better reflect that, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hatch, we have access to the management systems, engineering services, technologies and consulting of our 6,000-person parent company on six continents.
