Act4Africa is an award winning health and education charity aiming to promote gender justice for women and girls, equip them with life skills to be free from poverty, and combat HIV using Theatre for Development techniques. We want to change attitudes, transform communities, and save lives.

Act4Africa's holistic approach prioritises the needs of women and girls and poor communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Working at grass roots level with a focus on women, the charity uses performance arts activities to communicate key issues relating to gender equality, business and enterprise, sexual and reproductive health and HIV/AIDS prevention. The charity also organises trips to Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi, for those wishing to do their medical elective or teaching placement in Africa, as well as organising various sponsored events and fundraising activities.
