Action For Kids
About
Action for Kids was founded in 1991 by Sally Bishop who wanted to raise money to purchase a powered wheelchair for a disabled boy who couldn’t get the equipment he needed on the NHS. Action for Kids aims for a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose, just like their non disabled peers. Their mission is to enable as many young people with disabilities as possible the opportunity to work or volunteer in the community.
