Adaptive Path has always been as much an idea as it is a company: the idea that designing for human experiences is transformative. Bringing the needs of people to the forefront is the best way for organizations, businesses, and communities to solve problems in new, effective, and meaningful ways. They believe that design–working tangibly and strategically on a solution–can and should be used for the good of the people it’s for, and it’s out of that belief that AdaptivePath.org was born.
Adaptive Path was founded in 2001 as a pioneer in user experience design. They spent 14 years as a leading UX consultancy, helping businesses and organizations solve problems and improve their products, services, and systems through a human-centered approach. Alongside those partnerships, they hosted over 100 events and conferences to share strategies, learn from others, and spread the impact of crafting great human experiences. As partners of Capital One, they’re keeping the public side of Adaptive Path thriving through the dot-org launched at UX Week 2015.
Their mission is to transform communities by design. They’ll use this site as a space to share ideas (both own and those want to highlight from the design community), continue to host annual events, and seek out pro bono engagements with socially-conscious groups in order to apply service experience design to meaningful challenges.See more
