In Romania, ADM operates eight elevators on the Danube, with two more under construction; two inland origination facilities, one close to Bucharest and one in the western part of the country; shallow water port facilities in Braila; 50 barges and six tug boats. ADM is one of the largest port operators in the Port of Constanta in the Black Sea, handling barley, rapeseed, wheat, sunflower seed and corn, as well as various other commodities such as coal and iron ore. In addition, ADM operates a transport and trading office in Bucharest. ADM has more than 620 employees working in Romania.
