The purpose of the African Innovation Foundation is to increase the prosperity of Africans by catalyzing the innovation spirit in Africa. The foundation wants to see needs-based innovation and change happen.

Today, the foundation's areas of activity encompass innovative programs in the fields of access to technologies, law and governance, and social impact development. The Foundation seeks to establish co-operation platforms for institutions, investors and innovators, and to promote ideas to support them.
