Since its IPO in 1999, Afriquia Gaz has continued to develop. In 2005, the company carried out the merger-acquisition of Tissir Gaz. Two years later, in 2007, Afriquia Gaz confirmed its vision of excellence with ISO 9001 version 2000 certification.
The company adopts an integrated management system which places health, safety and the environment at the heart of its concerns, allowing it to obtain QHSE certification. In 2008 and 2009, to meet ever-increasing demand, the company extended its butane and propane storage centers and terminals in Jorf Lasfar.
In a dynamic of growth, Afriquia Gaz acquires the company National Gaz, representing 30% of the oriental market, as well as the brand Butafric, widely distributed in Tangier, Tetouan and Region.
