About

AGEG Consultants is an internationally recognised consulting company for development policy and international cooperation. They offer professional know-how and services for short and long term projects in diverse areas of activity in development aid. For over 20 years now, bilateral and multilateral organisations, NGOs, foundations, academic institutes and private clients have relied on AGEG’s expertise. Our commitment to their goals has led to a trusted and successful cooperation throughout all phases of a project –from planning to implementation and evaluation. Established working relations exist with numerous clients, including among others GTZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit) and KfW Entwicklungsbank in Germany, as well as the European Commission and the World Bank.

Their head office in Germany serves as the main point of contact for clients and partners. All projects in developing and transition countries around the globe are coordinated from our head office in Kirchheim unter Teck. The project managers located here keep a constant eye on the objectives and progress of individual projects. They coordinate the activities of the specialists and ensure smooth communication among all parties involved. They work hand in hand with the heads of our eight departments, who make decisions on technical matters and provide backup support. Roughly 20 employees in the head office work together to ensure the on-site experts can fully concentrate on their work.

Over 150 experts are contracted by AGEG on a regular basis. Strongly tied to the company and its success, 38 of them are shareholders in AGEG Consultants eG, a registered cooperative since 1989. Another 42 regularly work with us as associated specialists, and at least 80 experts are employed in long-term projects. In addition, we have access to over 4,000 professionals who have registered with us. Together, they cover the broad range of skills required in all areas of operation. Key criteria for cooperation are high-level technical skills and proven cultural sensitivity.
