In view of the importance of safeguarding and integrated development of oasis areas and the Arganeraie, the National Agency for the Development of Oasis Zones and Argan (ANDZOA) was created under the supervision of the Ministry of the Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, in accordance with Dahir n °, 1-10-187 of 7 moharrem 1432 (December 13th, 2010) promulgating the law n ° 06-10 of February 18th, 2010. And this, following the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Regarding the organization of ANDZOA, it is administered by a board of directors chaired by the head of government and led by a Strategic Orientation Council chaired by the Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries. In addition, it is managed by a General Management.

The mission of ANDZOA is to elaborate, in coordination with the governmental authorities, the elected bodies and the organizations concerned, a global program of development of the zones of its intervention, to ensure its execution, the follow-up of its realization and its evaluation. ; and this, within the framework of a sustainable development on the economic, social, cultural, environmental and human levels in accordance with the decided orientations and strategies.
