The Statutory Auditor is responsible for the financial and patrimonial supervision of TIC TIMOR,
The sole auditor is responsible for:
Supervise the financial and equity management of TIC TIMOR, through, inter alia, the performance of internal audits;
Examine books, documents, records, accounting and administrative and take other measures, if necessary;
Report, within the scope of its powers, any irregularities and issue recommendations to the Executive Director;
Audit the TIC TIMOR budget execution report.
The Statutory Auditor is specifically and exonerated by the tutelage for a term of five years, renewable.
The remuneration due to the Statutory Auditor is fixed by joint order of the tutelage and the member of the government responsible for the area of finance.
