Agencia Uruguaya de Cooperación Internacional (Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation) (AUCI)

The Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI) was created in December 2010. It operates in the orbit of the Presidency of the Republic and has a Directing Council chaired by the Deputy Secretary of the Presidency, Juan Andrés Roballo, appointed by the President of the Republic and is composed of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rodolfo Nin Novoa and the director of the Office of Planning and Budget, Alvaro García. Among the tasks of AUCI are the planning, design, supervision, administration, coordination, execution, evaluation, monitoring and dissemination of activities, projects and programs of international cooperation, received and granted by Uruguay, to comply with the national development priorities of the country.
