Social Information Agency - a leading expert organization of the Russian non-profit sector, and professional news agency specializing in coverage of civic initiatives. Dual status - independent non-profit organizations and the media - is needed to achieve the mission, which is guided by ASI since inception.
A little history
ASI was founded in 1994 on the initiative of the charity fund "human soul" and "No to Alcoholism and Drug Addiction" (NAS), the pedagogical association "Rainbow" and like-minded groups. The agency was created in support of the sector of non-profit organizations, is still gaining strength and almost no information is discarded shadows. Together with the sector increased its information and communication needs, service which ASI is engaged to this day.
ASI mission - to contribute to the sustainable development of society, the harmonization of social relations, promoting the growth of trust between the different sectors, organizations and individuals. ASI creates a favorable environment for the conduct of social dialogue, development of civic engagement and mutual responsibility. The Agency seeks to ensure that communication between NGOs, the media, government and business were constructive and led to an agreement and understanding that are necessary for the joint solution of social problems. On this basis, for several years, ASI has consistently promoted four key areas of activity.
