Agrihold is a business holding made up of companies that operate in the agribusiness sector. Born in Paraguay in the late 1990s (from the AGROTEC company), Agrihold extended its activities to Uruguay, Brazil and China, based on a policy of continuous growth based on differentiated ethical and commercial values. Open to the incursion in new ventures in the field, made the alliances (solid and lasting) with international companies of reference its expansion strategy, the permanent growth its approach of diversification of the inherent risks to the agricultural activities and the economy of scale its commercial operational base.
Aiming to encourage investments in different geographies and business areas, Agrihold emerged as an investment and management entity , with emphasis on the production and commercialization of agrochemicals, seeds, fertilizers and other productive technologies. Born from the entrepreneurial spirit of 4 generations of the Zanchet family, it is today one of the main holdings of the sector in the Southern Cone. It began with the Paraguayan company AGROTEC (whose development established a pattern of work with the producers that would later be replicated by other companies), which was followed by the Uruguayan Solaris and the Brazilian ALTA.
Entering the Chinese market through the companies Interag and Ducom, the Agrihold Group opens a wide range of possibilities for global investments in everything related to agricultural production. Their companies cover the entire cycle of the production chain, from the previous work with the producer to the sale of the grains.
