AIDS Infoshare is a Russian non-governmental organization (NGO) with over 14 years of experience implementing programs and consulting on HIV in the Russian Federation and in the CIS. The mission of AIDS Infoshare is to reduce the harm caused by the HIV/AIDS epidemic through:
 

• Extensive Russian language resources and training materials, as well as capacities for large-scale program implementation, scientific research and financial management
• Expertise at grassroots, civil society, clinical, scientific, national and international levels
• Development of the capacities of NGOs, activists, governmental institutions and federal agencies
• Conducting numerous trainings, seminars and conferences for Russian and non-Russian civil society, PLHIV and governmental bodies
• Continuing to be a leading participant in the dialogue between communities, civil society and government institutions

AIDS infoshare’s best practice prevention program among Commerical Sex Workers, proven successful in Moscow, has been rolled out and adopted in other regions of Russia since 1996. Financial and methodological support to partner organizations is directed towards the development of effective prevention projects among CSW. The main objectives of AIDS infoshare’s program in the regions are the following: planning and implementation of complex HIV prevention activities among CSW; providing regions with informational, methodological and financial support; training of multidisciplinary teams of specialists able to implement effective prevention projects among CSW.
