Al-Rahma charity association is a Palestinian charitable, societal, non-profit association established in 1993 with registration number (7309). The association provides humanitarian, health, educational, agricultural and social development services for citizens in general, and for the poor families and orphans in particular manner, using to achieve this mission prestigious means of humanitarian dealing and latest available equipment.

The Association’s work concentrated on Khanyounis Governorate which its residents number is estimated by approximately 365 thousand people, offering valuable services represented in various programs, which aim to provide the requirements and the necessities of life and livelihood mainly, then join those relief programs with developmental projects whose primary goals are to convert Palestinian society from the recession and consumption to the production and creativity stage so that the target groups become able to achieve the self-sufficiency which have a notable effect on the renaissance and community cohesion.

Mission:

Al-Rahma Charity Association is a leading Palestinian charitable institution working in the fields of relief, health, agriculture, education and development in order to enable the target groups to play an active and a constructive roles in the process of transformation of Palestinian society from inactivity and consumption stage to the stage of creativity and production, which is the first step towards development.

 

General goals:    

1. Helping poor and needy families, and convert them to productive families among the community.
2. Working on sponsorship of orphans in cooperation with individuals and organizations, seeking to ensure comprehensive care for them.
3. Providing distinct medical services, including establishment of medical centers and specialized hospitals.
4. Contributing to achieve food security in Gaza Strip by implementing agricultural projects on organic agriculture bases.
5. Caring of handicapped, helping them to amalgamate in the community, and giving them hope of better future.
6. Contributing in the Palestinian economic support and developing the society through implementing projects that have the developmental nature investing the implicit energies in the target groups.
