The National Agency Partnerships for Economic Infrastructure Development -ANADIE- is a decentralized and heritage own entity created to develop and coordinate plans, policies and standards for the development of contracts in the form of public-private partnerships for public institutions in Guatemala.
ANADIE is created within the framework of the Law of Alliances for Economic Infrastructure Development (Decree 16-2010) and its Regulations (Government Agreement 360-2011) with absolute transparency promoting investment projects in roads, generation and distribution of electricity , harbors, airports and other works, which are necessary for the country's development. In its framework, the Agency develops planning, studies, structuring, tendering, contracting, contract administration and supervision in the form of public-private partnerships in coordination with the contracting state institution.
The current portfolio of projects ANADIE consists of: a. State Administrative Center in Guatemala City; b. Port Logistics Intermodal Tecun Uman in Guatemala-Mexico border; c. Highway and commuter train North-South axis of the city of Guatemala; d. Pacific freight train; and. Ring Road City North-East axis and f Guatemala. Plant Solid Waste Association of South Guatemala City. Previous projects totaling attracting more than US $ 1.305 million investment in infrastructure for economic development.
