Alliance for Girls

Alliance for Girls drives transformational change to enhance the lives of girls* and gender-expansive youth of color in California.

Since its founding in 2012, Alliance for Girls has facilitated development, coordination, and collective action to promote systemic change across the girl-serving sector. The organization works strategically, passionately, and collaboratively to shift gender norms and realities, ensuring that the next generation of girls and gender-expansive youth can realize their full potential.

Alliance for Girls is the largest regional alliance of girl-serving organizations and leaders in the United States. Its membership includes over 120 organizations employing 2,400 staff and engaging more than 5,100 volunteers who serve over 300,000 girls across nine Bay Area counties and Los Angeles County.
