Allied Recovery International is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization that specializes in providing shelter and public infrastructure to disadvantaged communities around the world.
The organization was founded in 2009 to assist the poorest and most vulnerable persons to achieve lives of dignity and purpose in the midst of crisis and upheaval.
ARI consists of seasoned humanitarian professionals who have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of natural disasters, conflict, and poverty upon the human condition and the environment. While ARI specializes in construction and emergency response, they are committed to providing a holistic approach at every stage of the recovery process, including the transition to development.
ARI is established to specialize in the sectors of housing and public infrastructure construction, and including clean water supply and sanitation, public health, and household economic security as appropriate for a holistic program. The approach with ARI is to operate from a community base and to collaborate with local counterparts. To insure local ownership and program-sustainability, local partners set priorities and are involved in the design, implementation, and assessment of programs to the greatest degree possible. Guided by the aspirations of local communities, they pursue the mission with both excellence and compassion.
