For over 30 years, Alpha has been designing, managing and executing engineering projects in Trinidad & Tobago, and the Caribbean Basin.

History

Founded in 1984 by Mr. John Camacho, Alpha initially provided specialized engineering services in water and wastewater projects for the Water and Sewage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (WASA).

From 3 project engineers and 1 main client, the firm quickly grew into a diversified, multi-disciplined organization gaining its experience through the successful completion of over 200 small and medium sized projects relating to land and infrastructure development, land-use planning, project management and construction management.

On John’s retirement in 2012, Alpha evolved into two corporate entities (Engineering and Design) with its full cadre of professional engineers and support staff, now operating in El Socorro, San Juan, while our sister company Alpha Construction continues to operate at the original location in Woodbrook, Port of Spain.

John remains an invaluable advisory resource to both companies.
