ANRS Water Resource Development Bureau is a public organization established to provide potable water supply to the people of the region and constructing irrigation schemes so as to produce more and eradicate poverty.

 

The bureau has established zonal water, irrigation and energy development departments in ten zones, representing the bureau at close range and supporting the communities in each zone. The two newly formed North Gondar and West Gondar zones are undergoing a water process under the Ministry of Agriculture. Water and Energy Development Office has been established in all woredas of the state.
