About

The Anti-Corruption Commission is mandated under the Anti-Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012 to spearhead the fight against corruption in Zambia. The functions are provided under Section 6 of the same Act. In summary the Commission mandate is to undertake the following:

  • (i) Investigating and prosecuting cases of suspected corruption
  • (ii) Conducting public sensitization on the dangers of corruption and fostering public support in the fight against corruption
  • (iii) Putting in place mechanisms for preventing the corruption scourge
