KomPart Verlagsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG was founded in 1996 as a public-private partnership of AOK and wdv-Verlag (Bad Homburg) with locations in Bonn and Bad Homburg. Since then the AOK system holds the majority over the AOK publishing house (Remagen). KomPart is an agency and publisher in one - developer and implementer of communication solutions.
Since 15 October 2008, KomPart Verlagsgesellschaft has been merged at the Berlin location in the house of the AOK-Bundesverband.
More than 35 employees work in the areas of editorial, graphic, PR and production. Average annual turnover: more than five million euros.
The strongest side of KomPart is its health and social policy competence.
KomPart works not only for the AOK Federal Association and all state AOKs, but also for clinical groups, the statutory accident insurance and the Luxembourg Ministry of Health and Social Affairs.

AOK International Consulting by KomPart provides consultancy service to political decision-makers, health insurance funds and health insurance projects abroad. Thereby they cooperate with several partner organizations.
They offer the placement of health care system experts in international projects and the organization of study tours and trainings for delegations from abroad. On this they draw on the knowledge of the AOK, the largest German social health insurance fund with approximately 24 million insured individuals and over 60,000 employees in roughly 1,400 branch offices.
