Arab-American Family Support Center (AAFSC)
About

AAFSC is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization established in 1994 to provide culturally and linguistically competent, trauma-informed, multigenerational social services to immigrants and refugees. They strengthen families through 4 key priority areas and their work extends to communities globally.

All of their priority areas – Prevent, Get Ready, Promote, and Communicate are interlinked. This means, for example, that participants who are taking English language classes as part of their Get Ready Initiatives will also access their Youth Program for their children, Legal Services, and Mental Health support.

While they support anyone who walks through their doors, over their nearly 25 years of experience, they have developed expertise in serving the Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, and South Asian (AMEMSA) immigrant and refugee communities.
