Sustainability - The Qorichacra Project
The Qorichacra Project, in Peru, is a Syngenta Foundation and Arcos Dorados initiative. Small Cusco farmers are now able to contribute to the supply chain of an important food company with high quality standards as those of McDonald's.
Efforts are underway to replicate the program in Argentina, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, in a commitment to prospecting future alliances and identifying new strategies to help integrate small farmers into the formal economy.
