Empresa Argentina de Soluciones Satelitales Sociedad Anónima AR-SAT, usually known simply as ARSAT, is an Argentine government-owned telecommunications company incorporated in 2006 as a Sociedad Anónima through the federal law 26.092.
Services
They are the national telecommunications company that assumed the commitment to generate equal conditions in Internet access throughout the country. They have 33,000 km of fiber optics deployed throughout the national territory, more than 1000 connected locations and more than 630 internet providers. They offer satellite services in Argentina, and in the rest of the continent, with their geostationary satellites ARSAT-1 and ARSAT-2.
Their National Data Center provides a safe and reliable environment, being one of the most efficient in Latin America, with TIER III certifications from the UPTIME INSTITUTE, for its quality, design and construction.
They distribute more than 1,540 WiFi points in the country that provide free internet access. They provide infrastructure to send digital television signals to the entire national territory with 95 terrestrial transmission stations.
