Vision and Mission ACE

The current vision and mission of ACE was formulated in 1st of January 1999;

Vision

The Centre as catalyst for the economic growth and integration of the ASEAN region by initiating and facilitating multilateral collaborations as well as joint and collective activities on energy.

Mission

ACE shall accelerate the integration of energy strategies within ASEAN by providing relevant information and expertise to ensure the necessary energy policies and programmes are in harmony with the economic growth and the environmental sustainability of the region.

Key roles of ACE

In order to fulfil its mandate, ACE produces outputs as per 3 critical roles;catalyst, knowledge hub, and policy advisory. Details on each role areelaborated below:

  • Catalyst : organising meeting, connecting stakeholders, promoting collaborations regionally and globally
  • Data and knowledge hub : sharing knowledge, storing, and disseminating knowledge thus creating a transparency of insights sharing further empowering stakeholders.
  • Policy advice : follow up studies through delivering best practices, lessons learned, and by other means to create enabling environment for sustainable development in ASEAN.
