Aseguradora Yacyreta SA was founded on November 4, 1980. With four decades of experience, it is positioned among the first insurance companies in the market, with solid support and high solvency indicators that guarantee its business strength. 

It began as an insurance company in Patrimonial branches. In 2012 it was authorized by the Superintendence of Insurance to operate in the Life branches. 

It currently belongs to the Harrison Bogado family, made up of a group of companies from various sectors of the Paraguayan economy, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry, the financial-insurance sector, and the media. 

Several important milestones have marked the trajectory of Aseguradora Yacyreta, especially since the year 2000. It is defined as a company with a purpose that seeks to offer reliable, effective and flexible policies to protect what matters most, with the best attention and tailored to the needs of each client.

On February 8, 2019, a historic event took place for the life of Aseguradora Yacyreta and for the Paraguayan insurance market itself, with the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Grupo General de Seguros. 

The merger of both companies, after its approval by the Competent Authorities, will further strengthen the leadership position of Aseguradora Yacyreta for the benefit of its clients, collaborators and its entire commercial network.
