It is based on the recognition and acceptance of other cultures and on overcoming everything that leads to domination and oppression. It implies Tolerance and respect respecting Human Rights, among the staff, and the population served, especially the cultures and identities of Indigenous Peoples, sharing visions and proposals, seeking synergies and coordinated action between actors.
- Ideological independence , preventing particular, partisan or confessional interests from influencing decisions.
- Culture of communication and teamwork in all institutional instances, from the Assembly, Board of Directors, Executive Director and staff
Beginning
Pro-Rural is framed in the following principles:
- Rural mandate, articulated to the urban: The actions will focus on the development of the rural area promoting local and regional social and economic development; However, its scope of action also corresponds to the peri-urban and urban areas, with the understanding that local and rural development must integrate comprehensive territorial development.
- Equity and Social Justice. It promotes equality of opportunity and the end of all discrimination against vulnerable individuals and populations, seeking equality of rights and opportunities so that inequalities are compensated, reduced and, if possible, suppressed.
- Innovation: Product of internal reflection processes, the institution generates new instruments, methodologies and approaches to qualify the action and at the same time allows us to make transfers to other similar entities and to the public sector.
- Articulación concertada entre los diferentes actores públicos y privados, a nivel local, regional o nacional, buscando la complementación de acciones entre los diferentes acto- res involucrados, dado que el desarrollo es un desafío para el conjunto de instituciones y organizaciones.
