ASEMEJA is a Civil Association created in 1978 that work for the unity and participation of former grantees, for the promotion of intercultural and scientific relations of Mexican and Japanese societies. They are made up of a multidisciplinary group of professionals from different courses and technical specialties of the JICA Mexico Scholarship program, such as:

  • Industrial development
  • Education
  • Health
  • Environment
  • Energy
  • Human security
  • International cooperation
  • Rural development

At ASEMEJA they have a database of former JICA grantees with more than 2,700 members , with whom they maintained continuous communication. Their Association activities are due to the initiatives of former grantees and priority issues of JICA Mexico.
