They are the Latin American Association for Alternative Development, ALDEA, a non-profit organization, based in the city of Quito, Ecuador, South America.

They are a group of women and men with a high commitment to support the construction of an inclusive, equitable and sustainable society. They seek to collectively design strategies with people, their communities and territories towards social development with a rights-based approach.

MISSION

ALDEA's mission is to contribute to the development of a sustainable local culture through capacity development processes and the creation of spaces for reflection that allow local populations, communities and institutions to become political subjects that build their well-being, whose solidarity generates cohesion social, and the exercise of their rights and improve their living conditions in their territories.
