ASDRA is the Down Syndrome Association of the Argentine Republic, a non-profit civil association for the public good, which founded a group of mothers and fathers of people with Down syndrome in 1988 to improve the quality of life of our children. Our volunteer work is joined by an operational staff that collaborates in the daily tasks of the organization.
They work together with families for the inclusion of people with Down syndrome in early care, education, work and independent living. They promote compliance with the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by Argentina in 2008.
