Association of Legal Entities "Association of microfinance organizations of Kazakhstan" (AMFOK) is non-profit organization which activities aim to strengthen and promote the interests of its members and microfinance sector as a whole.

AMFOK founded in 2004 on the initiative of lead microfinance organizations of Kazakhstan. AMFOK is the only industrial alliance that combines the organizations interested on the development of the microfinance in Kazakhstan. Currently the Association has established partnership with a number of international companies promoting microfinance. According to statistics data, the members of the Association of Microfinance Organizations of Kazakhstan provided more than 50% of the total issued microloans in Kazakhstan. 

Mission is the development of the microfinance sector for the sustainable access for the financial services in order to reduce poverty and sustain economical growth. 

Objectives:
The development of microfinance sector as a part of the financial system of Kazakhstan
Strengthening the capacity, efficiency and productivity of the mebers of AMFOK
Improvement of legislation in the microfinance field in order to create sustainable microfinance system inthe Republic

AMFOK was accredited by the Ministry of economic development and trade of Kazakhstan, at the current time accredited in the Ministry of justice and National chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, also amember of:
- ALE «Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan»;
- ALE «Association of Taxpayers of Kazakhstan»
- Microfinance Centre on Central and East Europe and CIS countries, Poland
- SEEP Network, uniting microfinance network and Association around the world
