International Development Assistance
The work in international development assistance has been delivered on over 200 projects in 80 countries, allowing us to offer global reach backed by localised knowledge. Whether it be managing long term development programmes, delivering emergency response, facilitating policy debate or responding to the changing needs of emerging nations, this is a dynamic area in which to work.

Aurecon believes in empowering people, communities, organisations and governments to take charge of their own development. Aurecon works with thw clients and communities to produce technical, social and environmental outcomes that are tailored and practical.

Aurecon has partnered with many major donors, including the World Bank, European Union, African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, USAID and AusAID, as well as bilateral agencies.  This work has been completed throughout Africa over the past 10 years, Asia and the Pacific.  The work in international development assistance includes services such as the provision of roads or clean water, but also focuses on social projects in health and education. The projects have included many road development projects in Africa, the East Timor Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (RWSSP), and the Government of Malawi's Poverty Alleviation Programme which has been operating successfully for eight years
