Council for Australian Relations with Latin America
The Council for Australian Relations with Latin America (COALAR) was established in 2001 with the aim of strengthening relations between Australia and Latin America, with a focus on cultural and commercial issues.

The objectives of the Council are:
- strengthen Australia's ties with Latin America in business, education, sustainability, tourism and culture;
- promote the approach of the Australian corporate sector to Latin America;
- increase awareness of Australia in Latin America, and vice versa.
