Australian Power and Water
Australian Power and Water
About
Australian Power and Water Pty Ltd is an international engineering and project management services company providing specialist services for the power, water, and other infrastructure sectors. Its operations extend throughout Australia, the Asia-Pacific region and many other countries and regions.
APW has become a respected and widely used consulting firm both within Australia and internationally. In 1996, under its former name, HECEC Australia Pty Ltd, it took over the business of the government-owned HEC Enterprises Corporation which had been set up as the commercial arm of the Hydro-Electric Corporation (HEC) of Tasmania in 1987 (coinciding with the start of the wind-down of the HEC’s involvement in the design and construction of new hydropower and dams facilities.)
HEC Enterprises Corporation and, after it took over the business, HECEC Australia Pty Ltd, established an enviable track record of successful assignments in all states and territories of Australia and in more than 30 other countries worldwide.
APW was renamed in October 1999 and has now moved on from its former exclusive resourcing relationship with the HEC. APW provides expert personnel using the best available people, including its own staff, external specialists and associates.
